As of September 2nd, Professor Sunghoon Im joined in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST. Prof. Sunghoon Im graduated from Sogang University, Dept. of Electronics Engineering in 2014, and received Master and Ph.D. degrees from KAIST, School of Electrical Engineering in 2016 and 2019, respectively. In 2018, he was research intern at Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing, China, and he was visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA in 2019. His main research area is Computer Vision and he studied various topics related to scene reconstruction such as 3D Geometry, Stereo Matching, and Sensor Fusion. He has published 16 international papers, most of which have been published in TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICRA, and IROS, top journals
